Mainsoft Integrates Social Networking Features and Beta Support for Outlook.

Join Mainsoft’s next Virtual User Group meeting, when Mainsoft Project Manager Jonas Martinsson will preview SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes v2.5. The release will integrate SharePoint social networking features into a Lotus Notes sidebar. Direct access to User Profiles, My Sites, and People Search makes it easy to identify and build a network of colleagues with specific skills, interests, or experiences.

Jonas also previews Beta support for Microsoft Outlook. As Yaacov Cohen, CEO of Mainsoft will discuss, Notes enterprises can either choose a long-term software coexistence strategy or a migration to Outlook and Exchange. The production release will deliver the same document collaboration experience for Lotus Notes and Outlook users, minimizing user training requirements as IT users are migrated.
